FAQ

How long have you been in the Name Ring business?

My father David started making and selling Name Rings in 1979.  In 1979 he started making hand cut brass and silver name rings.  Over the years that followed we tried other methods of making name rings.  In 2008 we invented and designed the Stamping Jig which makes it easy and fast to make stainless steel name rings.  We have continued to improve the design.

We have many years experience making and selling Name Rings!  We are happy to help answer any questions new ones may have about starting up in the Name Ring Business.

When will I get my order?

We will ship your order within 24 hours of receiving your order.  We ship orders Monday - Thursday. We ship all orders through UPS.  Please allow 3 to 5 business days to receive your order.

Where do I order stainless steel name rings?

Order stainless steel name rings at www.classicnamerings.com

Why do you only offer a few ring styles?

Keep it Simple.  Vendors who sell the most rings, over $1,000.00 to $2,000.00 a day only sell 3 or 4 different styles, and offer only one color for the letters, Black.  Remember that people are buying the rings because of the name on the ring.  Too many choices slows down the sales!  Too many styles also makes your inventory more expensive, difficult to maintain, and store.  Think about it!

What grade of stainless steel are the rings?

The rings are 316 stainless steel.  This is a high grade steel that is not subject to corrosion.  There is no lead in 316 stainless steel. Lower grades of stainless steel used on cheaper rings do not make a clean letter impression.

What is the difference between the Pro Kit and the Economy Pro Kit?

The Pro Kit comes with 185 Stainless Steel Rings and includes Infinity Number Stamps. The Economy Pro Kit comes with 80 Stainless Steel Rings and does not include Infinity Number Stamps.  Both Kits come with the Pro Jig and Infinity Uppercase Letter Stamps, Heart Stamp and all supplies to get started in the Name Ring Business.   * NOTE - Jigs are not sold separately except to existing ring customers.

Does the jig space the letters?

Spacing of the stamped letters is done by hand because letters are different widths, uppercase and lowercase, etc, are not the same.  Easy to do, just like when you print by hand!

Are your products guaranteed?

All Jigs have a Lifetime Free replacement when used for stamping our Stainless Steel rings .

Stamps are a consumable item like saw blades, but have a long working life.

Rings?  No problem, never had a bad ring yet.

What is the working life of the stamps?

Stamps are a consumable item like knife blades.  Many of our customers use one set of Infinity Stamps for many years. Stamps can be damaged because of hitting the wrong end or hitting hard metals other than stainless steel.  Infinity Stamps may be replaced individually for about the profit of one ring.  The cost of the stamps per use on each ring is close to nothing!

Do you manufacture the rings?

We get the rings directly from our manufacturer overseas.  The rings are designed to our specifications and are exclusive to us.  The stainless steel rings we offer are the best for stamping.

What is the gold finish on Style 6 and Style 4G?

The gold finish is made of a durable plating material that may eventually diminish.  It is similar to the gold tone finish you see on cutting tools to make the tool harder.  The gold finish may eventually wear off but will not chip off.  It will still be a good looking ring.  We do not sell rings that are a solid color as the color will come off and then you will have to throw away the ring.
